at a large community health center, providing primary care
in a family practice setting with an emphasis on women's

Junior High.
1983-1985 Truchas Medical Clinic Truchas, N.M. PA/Medical
Director I managed a rural National Health Service Corps
clinic in a solo practice with a weekly visit from my supervising
physician, providing comprehensive family practice medical
care. My patients were of all ages and lived in a rural
traditional New Mexican village. Initiated a home visit
program and community outreach programs. Wrote a grant with
the N.M. State Health and Human Services Dept. to provide
W.I.C.services and free Well-Child , Prenatal and Famliy
Planning services at our clinic. 1982-1983 Cuba Health Center
Cuba, N.M. Physician Assistant/Medical Supervisor(Nageezi
Clinic) P.A. providing primary care services to a multi-cultural
patient population: Navajo, Hispanic, Apache, and Anglo
patients in a rural setting, 2-3 hours north of Albuquerque
on the Checkerboard Reservation. We worked at both rural
satelite clinics and in Cuba at the clinic and small hospital,
providing both out-patient and in-patient care. I took first
call for E.R. shifts and we delivered babies as well.
